Minister Retires

Wendy Drake retired, due to ill health, after 16 years with us. I am sure you will all understand the difficulty Wendy and her family have been through over the last years and join us in wishing her a long and happy retirement.

Vacancy

This means we are now in a Vacancy position. During this time the Revd Alexander G Horsburgh MA BD, minister of Dalkeith: St Nicholas Buccleuch has been appointed as our Interim moderator.

Lasswade & Rosewell Unite

Our linked churches of Lasswade and Rosewell have united to become one church, this will make little difference to Cockpen & Carrington but should reduce the work load for any future minister of the charge.

Young At Heart re-launched as OASIS (Open to All SISters)

A group which will meet in the Annex of the Church Hall on the first Thursday of every month (click here for more details)
