Kenneth Gray

It is with much sadness that we record the death on 13th November of Mr. Kenneth Gray.
Ken had been a patient at the Western General Hospital for some time, then more recently at the new Community Hopital in Bonnyrigg. He was a long time member of this Church and had been an Elder for 50 years and latterly Senior Elder. His Ordination took place in 1961 and he worked tirelessly for his Church and it's people throughout these long years. Ken was also a long time Sunday School teacher and for 25 years was Superintendent and will be remembered by many who came through our Sunday School. A large Congregation met in Church on Friday 18th November to pay tribute to a good friend to so many. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time.

Arthur Mills

On a sad note, we mourn in the passing of one of our members, Arthur Mills on 31st October.
Arthur and Liz came to us in 1993 from Edinburgh and have been faithful members of our Church since that time. Arthur joined our Congregational Board a few years ago and, although not too well for much of that time, he gave of his time freely and willingly and we all benefited from his wise council on many issues.
Our thoughts, love and prayers are with Liz and the family in this time of sadness.
